Bound
Kinbaku (noun) or Shibari (verb) is the Japanese art of binding people with ropes. Its origins are in Japanese martial arts and law enforcement in the 17th century. It was a great honour to arrest someone without harming him.
It really is an art that only developed after 1900 into several sexual bondage techniques. Some good riggers like Midori have some fame outside of Japan.
Japanese bondage became known in the in the West in the 1960's.
