Black

Zwartboek (Blackbook) is a recent all Dutch movie (no subs) from Paul 'Robocop' Verhoeven. Carice van Houten is the new kid on the block in this movie. She is an international celeb by now, performing in many (pre-production) movies and nominated for several prizes.

Like Dutch model Doutzen Kroes she is/acts like a hard working next door girl. Diva behavior would be unacceptable in the Netherlands for serious professionals. They will be hunted down by the paparazzi. Both Carice and Doutzen don't have much paparazzi attention. Maybe because they are travelling a lot, maybe because they are serious professionals.

When you take all Paul's movies into account and his first/recent book about Jesus, this is another Dutch masterpiece with some deep thoughts. Dutch never are proud of their achievements (and we have some) but this movie is great.

- A Dutch fan wrote a critic on imdb (and I agree).
- The RS links are here (no use that I am replicating them).

Runner

scene from 'Blade Runner' city

Metropolis and Blade Runner. Movies inspire other movies. We all know that. Quentin Tarantino makes it his hallmark. Here are two movies that obsessed me for some time now.

If it doesn't ring a bell, you should skip this blog, because this is a big download. All credits go to the original posters who are obviously also movie lovers – many thanks lovers.

Metropolis (1927, Fritz Lang) was hugely over budget and a big flop in the cinema in those days. It landed on the rubbish-dump of movie history. But then (don't know how) Fritz' genius was recognized and people started to reconstruct his movie.
This is the latest 2010 version, presented at the Berlin Film Festival. The 150 min. .avi comes in about 7 x 200 MB. parts with English subtitles;
Metropolis 1927 - 2010 .rar.001

The 'extras' contain original documentary 'the making of' footage.
A must-have for every Metropolis freak. Another 900 MB. of .avi;

Blade Runner (1982) is a direct quote of Metropolis.
Also an iconic Sci-Fi movie and also with some deeper thoughts.

Louis

My Nephew lost a real uncle. This blog is for them.

Louis Davids (no Wiki) was a Dutch singer and entertainer in the 1930's. His language skills (song texts) are still remarkable to today's standards. When you like Dutch language. Underestimated, he was the Godfather of Dutch stand-up-comedians. Here are some tubes and tracks – all in Dutch language.

- The Nickel song (Dubbeltje – Kwartje) is famous and pathetic
- The Scheveningen Beach song is romance
- The football-match (Ajax – Blauw Wit) is all humor
- The (Zuiderzee) South See ballad is Dutch history
- Voor de Bakker ('Done') is a Dutch saying since this song
- Summer Telegrams (.mp3) sounds like a 1937 rap
- His most famous 1937 'Ford' song is here in .mp3 format

Kim

This undated picture, released from Korean Central News Agency on June 11, 2008, shows North Korean leader Kim Jong Il inspecting Korean People's Army unit 958 at an undisclosed location.

Here is a three part documentary about the secret live of North Korean leader Kim Jong Il. Don't expect many words from me. It made me laugh and it made me cry. 68 yo. Kim is a smart guy; He stopped drinking and he quit smoking.

When there was world championships in military parades, North Korea would have won gold. The comments from the female voice are actually the best part of this clip.

Napoleon Crossing the Alps by Jacques-Louis David, 1800

I was exhausted after seeing this one hour docu-movie, so a great audio-visual. It's about the 1815 Battle at Waterloo. Napoleon, Wellington, Prussians, even Dutch and the lot. It were actually several battles during several days. Wiki has the story and this is the docu. The movie looks like a BBC production; one of their best.

When you listen closely, you can hear Beethoven's music all over.

In the end, Napoleon put in his Personal Guard (his special forces, that never lost a battle). They were over-acting in the charge. When they had to retreat from the English hill-side canon fire, this news got the whole French army to collapse into mental and physical disarrey and thereby loosing the Waterloo battle.

Great footage for the historically inclined.

The one hour movie is English spoken with Dutch subtitles.

Girls

Carice van Houten in Paul Verhoeven's Black Book movie

Sorry, Paul (Dutch) Verhoeven again. I did some research but then; here is Paul 'Robocop' Verhoeven's Showgirls (1995) movie. You know my love for Paul by now; he is also Dutch and he makes crazy good movies. Showgirls was awarded a Razzie in 1996 (worst movie) and Paul was the first director who showed up in person to pick up his prize. That was a stunning act and lifted him (and the movie) to semi-cult status.

Paul demands a lot from his stars. Amazing what he let his actors do on-screen. In 'Zwartboek' (Black Book) Carice van Houten (Dutch Super Star) is blending her pubic hair with peroxide to look like an Arian woman to seduce the Nazi officer. I must post this movie sometime.

It looks that the raunchiest scenes from Showgirls are not around on the Tube, so I posted some myself;
- Showgirls (1995) – Her First Topless Dance
- Showgirls (1995) - The $500 Lapdance
- Showgirls (1995) - The Pool Scene

A fan on imdb wrote;
People love to trash this movie for some reason. Sure, it has its cheesy moments and maybe there is some over-acting on the part of a couple of the actresses, but still, this movie has some really fun scenes. You just can't take this movie too seriously and still enjoy it. Watch it as if it is a raunchy comedy and you won't be disappointed.

I think it is hypocritical that the same country that made the movie Basic Instinct a hit would trash this one. I just feel sorry for Elizabeth Berkley since this movie probably ruined her career. Still, I think we should all give her another chance. She's worth it. Don't all our Saved By the Bell loyalties mean anything? I want to close by saying that I am proud to own this movie in my personal video collection. It is a cult classic in the making!!!

The full 130 minute .avi movie comes in about 8 x 100 MB. parts.
It is English spoken and has a separate Turkish subtitle file.
No PSW. All credits go to the original uploader.

I was looking for this 2008 John Woo movie for some time because it had some rumors. I posted John Woo before and I saw some Chinese movies. They have impressive mass-scenes. The Return of Godzilla

Another episode from 1984 in the Japanese Godzilla saga. Don't take this series for granted. It started in the 1950's when GZ was (culturally) born from the Hiroshima and Nagasaki events. I suggest you take these movies as the Japanese way to cope with these events. It has many serious and funny meanings.

The production efforts (again) are high and the Japanese navy plays a major role in this movie. You also should notice the bloody serious acting of the brass. When you want the USA forces to help you with your movie, it must be very near to propaganda [compare Top-Gun and Apocalypse-Now].

In this movie GZ is pestering Russian and American submarines, sparking an international crisis while trampling around in Tokyo. Languages spoken are Japanese, Russian and English – also depicting the serious efforts of this movie.

How do they avoid the crisis and how do they take out the monster?

A trailer is here. The .avi movie comes in about 6 x 95 MB. files;

Rotterdam

Joris Ivens, Rotterdam Europoort, 1966

In 1964, Joris Ivens was asked by Rotterdam City Council to make a film promoting the largest harbor in the world. For Ivens, this commission was a welcome opportunity to strengthen the vulnerable relationship with his homeland and reconnect with 'Dutch' themes, like the Flying Dutchman. Meant as a publicity film, ROTTERDAM EUROPOORT (1966) became a skilful, artistic documentary with fictional scenes and incorporating new camera techniques, so that it turned out to be useless for publicity. Therefore, the disappointed producer Joop Landré turned to Tom Tholen, the sound man on 'Rotterdam Europoort', to revisit the locations and produce an almost complete remake, even excluding the artistic elements.

After more than thirty years of work abroad, Joris Ivens was invited by the municipality to make a film in Rotterdam again, where he had shot his well-known The Bridge (1928). Rotterdam-Europoort, whose production took two years, became a layered hybrid of fact and fiction, poetry and legend - a modern interpretation of The Flying Dutchman. Not devoid of critical remarks, it was a challenging way to promote the port. Besides its imagery, the film is also special for its sound, and Ivens subsequently encouraged soundman Tom Tholen to direct films himself.

Angie

Michèle Mercier [right] is Angélique

Every young boy's wet dream – at least in the 1960's. I have seen some of these Angélique movies. Almost no nudity but loaded with special eroticisms. Even a 12 year old boy could smell that.

So great memories. This looks like the complete set of movies.

Very many thanks to biohazard for uploading these movies. BH obviously did some great research to compare the novels to the films that is very informative.

Description: In this first part of the Angélique cycle, set in Mid-17th century France under the young Sun King Louis XIV, still struggling for his throne, while beggars and brigands roam the country, Angélique de Sancé de Monteloup, fifth child of an impoverished country nobleman in the Poitou marshlands, expected to struggle for a meager subsistence, educated in a nunnery, is betrothed at 17 to Joffrey de Peyrac, the 12 years older rich but cripple Comte de (count of) Peyrac de Morens and seigneur (Lord) of Toulouse, scarred in the face and said to be a sorcerer, in fact practicing oriental mining techniques which make his vast fortune. For the sake of her family, Angélique reluctantly agrees to the match but refuses the advances of her husband, who does not enforce his conjugal rights, wishing only to win her heart. As Angelique gradually discovers virtuous Peyrac's remarkable talents as scientist, musician and philosopher, she falls passionately in love with him. Joffrey's unusual way of life is threatened by the ambitious Archbishop of Toulouse, and soon the jealous young king Louis XIV, Joffrey is arrested for 'sorcery'. Angélique single-handedly faces the royal court, surviving murder and poison attempts on her self in a fruitless effort to save Joffrey from the stake. Intent on revenge and survival on her own, Angélique desperately joins the dark Paris underworld, finding it now ruled by her youth friend, farmer's son Nicolas, whose true love she had forsaken for her arranged marriage.

Description: Angélique et le Roy" is Anne et Serge Golon's peak: their novel successfully recreates the atmosphere of Louis the fourteenth 's court, with its intrigues, and its incredible "Etiquette". Their depictions are vivid and colorful. They have never blended so intimately Angelique's adventures with the historical events and there 's a lot of 'em war in Holland, the sumptuous feasts which celebrated victory, the rise of Madame de Montespan and the fall of Louise de La Vallière as favorites of the Sun King, the poisons affair, Henriette d'Angleterre's death, et al. Of course, there are some mistakes (the book was written in the fifties) Monsieur, frère du roi (king's brother), was never the villain depicted by the Golon, and his wife's (Henriette) poisoning was never proved(and the historians reckon it's unlikely).

What about the movie? It's an almost complete loss. The scenarists took what was the most spectacular-Angélique meets a Persian prince and is almost raped, she attends a black mass and left the rest, all I mention above. "Indomptable Angélique" and "Angélique et le Sultan" the two final episodes of the saga are, if possible, worse.

One should note, however, that only the third part of the novel was transferred to the screen. Philippe, who plays a prominent part in the novel, disappears in the prologue.

Bruno Dietrich ... Coriano
Pasquale Martino ... Savary
Sieghardt Rupp ... Millerand

Description: This is the 4th film in the Angelique saga. Both this one and the 5th one ("Angélique et le Sultan" ) are actually one long flick divided into two parts. Both are Anne and Serge Golon's "Indomptable Angélique" transferred to the screen. The first films of the series roughly followed the plots of the novels. But from "Angélique et le Roy" onwards, they started to wander from them dramatically. For example "Angelique et le Roy" consisted of the last part of the three which the novel featured and Peyrac did appear in it whereas he is absent from the novel.

In "Indomptable Angelique" Angelique goes in search of her husband Joffrey de Peyrac who did not die on the stake. Golon's novel was oversimplified; numerous characters who appear in it have been ruled out - Desgrez, the king's policeman, Nicolas Calembredaine (galley slave in the novel). The part of the old Savary is more important in the novel. Moreover Peyrac has become a masked pirate "Le Rescator" in the movie. Had Robert Hossein been masked, the audience would have giggled. Unfortunately a lot of Golon's magic is gone.
From the novel the scenarists kept the most "daring" scenes; Angelique handed over to D'Escrainville's men down in the hold, then to ferocious cats, then sold in a slaves market. At the time, the audience was very disappointed, even Angelique's fans, because, not only the movie was very short (barely 80 min.) but it also abruptly ended.

Description: By now, there have been four other Angélique films and the series is simply losing momentum. As far as this film goes, it is the least interesting of the series by far--so it isn't surprising that the films were discontinued after this one.

This film finds Angélique in a North African Muslim kingdom where she is now part of the Sultan's harem. Most of the first 2/3 of this film consists of her angrily refusing to be bedded as well as their trying to literally beat some sense into her. It all seems to go on too long and I was surprised that the Sultan simply didn't have her killed. Late in the film, she finally escaped with the help of two Christian prisoners and in the end she is FINALLY reunited with her husband--but not until there is a nasty twist near the end where her handsome rescuer is needlessly killed. My wife, in particular, hated this ending as the nice blond guy seems to have been killed off for no particular reason and he was a pretty swell guy.
Overall, worth seeing if you've seen the other films but not an especially engaging film and there just isn't a whole lot of plot. As a result, this film simply limps to a conclusion.

Where shall I start? On the right-hand side of my blog you find the surreal movie site (that needs a free registration). It has loads of arty and culty movie. And often you find some really hilarious stuff. With a 2.5 rating, this 1956 B&W movie fits in snugly in my 'worst-ever' list; a must see for all the retarded and depraved.

Poster, imdb and trailer will do for most normal people.

Using hypnosis, Dr. Carlo Lombardi claims that he can have his patients regress and recover memories from their past lives, thereby proving that reincarnation exists. He also claims that the spirit of these past lives can be brought forth to take physical form. A series of violent murders by a creature that seems to disappear into the sea suggests that Lombardi's claim may be correct. The medical and scientific community believes him to be a complete fraud but one enterprising businessman sees the opportunity to make a small fortune with Lombardi's ability.

Jim

Iggy Pop and Tom Waits

'Coffee and Sigarettes' by Jim Jarmush is a 2003 independent film. It consists of eleven short stories which share coffee and cigarettes as a common thread. Many of my heroes here. I got a bit confused when I hit upon these tubes – the clips give you a semi-intimate view and they also are all in B&W.

In this episode Iggy Pop and Tom Waits pretend to play themselves, they smoke cigarettes to celebrate that they quit smoking, drink some coffee and have an awkward conversation;

Steven Wright and (always nervous) Roberto Benigni in this sketch called 'Strange to Meet You';

Meg and Jack White (The White Stripes = UK Bro-Sis Indie Band);

Cate Blanchett playing both herself and her cousin. Kinda strange, don't yah think?

Maybe I will collect all eleven episodes.

Christina

Her eye-lap from 'Picture' is iconic.

It's Valantine day and I picked Christina Lindberg [1950] as the super cool [ijskonijn] Swedish adult actress from the mid-seventies. She must be 60+ by now. You can read her full story on her Wiki.

I blogged Christina before and I now want to celebrate her again. She did some silly and cheap stuff in her early career (who doesn't). But then 'Exponerad' and 'Picture' were pretty serious movies. She was not afraid to do some extreme Japanese bdsm and rape movies too. Mind you, this was early and mid seventies.

[1] In 1970 Christina was just 19 yo. when she did her first 'Dog Day' soft adult movie (80 MB.avi).

[2] In this scene from 1973 bdsm Japanese 'Sex and Fury' Christina is whipping Reiko Ike (14 MB.avi).

[3] This is a docu type about early Christina nude moddeling and soft adult movies (200 MB.divx).

Amsterdam

Abon User pointed me to this Dutch movie from 1988. The Dutch public always expects B-stuff from their own country. But that attitude is changing now. I am from Amsterdam and the movie is in Amsterdam. I never took the time or effort to see the full movie (but now I'm a reborn Amsterdammer). Looking back I'm not surprized that I skipped this movie.

The speedboat jumps in the Amsterdam canals are spectecular (see the trailer) and Monique 'Turks Fruit' van de Ven is our Dutch sexy icon. So what went wrong? The story. Dutch director Dick Maas did some more famous movies (The Elevator, 1988) but I can never re-tell you the full story.

"Amsterdamned" is in the "slasher/murder/mystery/Jaws-Tribute" category. Even the fan on the imdb has a hard time to explain the story of the movie. Please read before you download.

Count

Gary Cooper, High Noon, 1952, Fred Zinnemann

I had a recent e-mail exchange about Old Spaghetti Western Movies and al the "pow-pow-youre-dead" scenes. In some scenes you can't keep up with the bodycount. This is of course great entertainment.

But glorifing violence (as an art) also makes me a bit philosophical (just a little bit, nothing else to do).

Here are some clips with all the "blam-blam" action in it;
- The Wild Buch (1969) – final shootout
- A John Woo compilation - from 2009
- Extreme Prejudice (1987) – final scenes
- Saviour of the Soul (1991) - prison escape

Gerard

All credits go to Wim Hoogendijk for providing this picture

(Sorry, all Dutch, no subs). Gerard Reve (turned into a Catholic freak) was one of, maybe THE best Dutch writer/artist from our recent history. He did not had a factory but you can easily compare him with a Dutch kinda Andy Warhol or a Rainer Werner Fassbinder.

Jan 'Turkish Delight' Wolkers (turned into a bio-freak) and Paul 'Robocop' Verhoeven (turned into a jezus-freak) are the other rascals of Modern Dutch Culture. I will blog some more Dutch freaks.

Gerard was a good-looking explicit and tormented homosexual. He threw it all out in his art and literature. Gerard was a radical rascal who compared Jezus with a Donkey. He went Catholic (for all to know) maybe to fuck his elder communist brother. I think it helped him. Gerard still has a full flock of fans and followers over here.

He also knew the power of the media. In 1974 Gerard did a TV show that is still a Unique Piece of Dutch Cultural History. Rob Houwer was the producer and his name flops op in many places (thank you Rob).

Some people don't only MAKE art, they ARE art.

Enjoy Gerard's Dutch language and his crazy quotes;
De Grote Gerard Reve Show (1974) part 1/5
De Grote Gerard Reve Show (1974) part 2/5
De Grote Gerard Reve Show (1974) part 3/5
De Grote Gerard Reve Show (1974) part 4/5
De Grote Gerard Reve Show (1974) part 5/5

Look for part 4 and 5 where Gerard (Teddybear) has a discussion with Jezus (Donkey). This is iconic footage from Dutch TV.

My e-pal was so kind to point out that Gerard and Karel were (both) famous brothers over here. But they hated each other. Karel was an anti-Freudian super-communist psycho professor (he died from Alzheimer) and had low rewards for Gerard.

Kopspijkers was a Dutch (2001) TV show with lots of hard and black humor that depicted both Gerard Reve and Rudi Carell (two Dutch icons) very well in the same scene. I could make a zillions references to Crazy Dutch Cult, but I think this is enough for today.

Geniet (Enjoy)

Foreign

the poster-trailer-imdb combination should do

The very expensive Brit-French Concorde aeroplane did a mach-2.
It was decomissioned by both France and Britain after a 'hard landing' just after take-off in a 2000 Paris to New York flight.
The story still gives me the shivers.
Here is a docu for my nephew;
The Concorde Crash Story 1
The Concorde Crash Story 2
The Concorde Crash Story 3
The Concorde Crash Story 4
The Concorde Crash Story 5

This 1978 movie also does a mach-2 rating. The first scenes are in the Concorde plane. When it lifts it's nose you have a pretty good idea about what is happening next. In my Holy Quest for Worst-Ever movies this 2.2 rated 'Emannuelle' spoof is in the left column.

You can ignore the French-Brit-German sensibilities – only meant for European conny-sewers. But that makes this movie even more kinky. When you are into language you will notice the crazy accents.

Why am I blogging this movie? So bad that it becomes great? Yes and No. More No than Yes. Almost Yes. It's because it is so absolutely over the top that it made my eyes wet. Why do people spend so much time and money for these movies? Maybe it's because there were some compromising pictures around and the producer was made an offer that he couldn't refuse. Any other suggestions?

Cool looking girl is reading a Fu-Kung-Sex book. This movie is in a class of it's own. First get very drunk and then enjoy this movie. Correction. First study the cast and notice Harry Hernia and Harold Hump. That made me bounce around the room in the first place.

Story (yesss there is): Good looking and sex-starved Emmannuelle Pervert just cannot inflame her husband's ardour. In frustration she seduces a string of VIPs, including the Brit Prime Minister and the American Ambassador. A jealous lover gives a list of all her conquests to the national press and then a real scandal ensues. But will she ever manage to get her own husband into bed?

Man

One of the best and craziest spaghetti westerns I ever saw. All credits go to the original uploader and to Abon User for his impeckable taste and providing for the links. He made me blog some of his earlier spaghetti westerns. In this movie Ringo Starr (bad guy) is just a footnote compared to the 50 brides.

"Blindman" (1971) is the tale of a blind gunslinger and his quest to recover a "consigment" of fifty mailorder brides to be delivered to some miners. The title character isn´t a superhero along the veins of Daredevil, but rather more like Wily E. Coyote. A forever battered and knocked about tumbleweed, who, despite his quarry always just beyond his grasp, just won´t quit.

The movie (trailer) has no famous director, cast or music but it has some great scenes of USA and Mexican landscapes. The many silly quotes are a joy to the ear and the eye. When Blindman rides into town he is welcomed by a sign that says; Have Fun With Your Gun. A prelude to more sexy things to come. The movie was banned in Finland. This fact makes it hilarious and (almost) culty.

Blindman is also pretty religious (another quote);
every night I pray to God;
"who are my friends?"
and I always get the same answer; silence

Paul

Rutger Houwer and Jennifer Jason Leigh

You must have noticed that I did some recent blogs about Paul 'Robocop' Verhoeven. This is because he is Dutch and he is nuts.
Look at his filmography and you see some remarkable movies.
We must thank producer Rob Houwer for giving Paul a chance in his early career. Dutch movies were not taken serious in those days (and I partly agree).

Paul's early Dutch movies deserve more attention. That's why I'm blogging these here.

Rutger Houwer is also Dutch and he also relocated to the USA and made some great performances there. He is now giving 'master-classes' in acting in the Netherlands.

Here is another early Paul-and-Rutger movie from 1985 and loaded with sex and religion. The story is located in the European middle ages, around 1500. A kind of Robin Hood (Rutger Houwer) takes and rapes a noble woman (Jennifer Jason Leigh). She enjoyes the few weeks but in the end she returns to her noble status. The rape scene is typical for the early Dutch Paul movies; sex and violence.

A fan on imdb noticed Paul's religious inclination (thank you fan);

This is one of the most raw, refreshing and UN-Hollywood movies you will ever see. It's truly a classic, and it stands alone, because nothing like it has been done before. The movie is invariably entertaining throughout, and it contains so many fresh ideas from Verhoeven that it really has you saying 'wow' an awful lot. The rape scenes that everybody freaks out about in their reviews aren't so horrible....they get they're point across but aren't TOO sexually explicit. Whats nice to see if you can call it that, is that the rape is real, and horrible, its not meant to be provocative like it would be in a Hollywood movie, not that i'm a fan of any rape scene, not at all...but at least this is genuine. The performances aren't spectacular or anything, but they are far far from weak. After one viewing this is one of my favorite films, and I recommend it very highly to you.

This film should also be of interest to the highly religious because of all the imagery in it. Verhoeven is known for religious imagery and this film is full of it. It's very Christian in its themes, not that the characters are big in practice, but the movie has a lot of religious points to make.

Story: When an attempted political coup in Northern Italy fails, most of the mercenaries hired by the coup leaders disperse. Not so Martin (Rutger Hauer), who intends to rob his duplicitous former employer Arnolfini (Fernando Hillbeck). Martin is able to raise his own army by using a stolen religious artifact as a talisman. He later kidnaps Arnolfini's prospective daughter-in-law Agnes (Jennifer Jason Leigh), who saves herself from a gang rape by feigning eternal devotion to her captor. Weeks of plunder and destruction follow, with a deadly plague thrown into the stew.

The gang-rape scene stars Rutger Houwer fucking Jennifer Jason Leigh. This type of sleaze Paul only could do in Europe but never not in the USA.

Jane

At age 72 Jane Fonda is doing some aerobics again. I know her as one of the first anti-Vietnam warriors. She always gives me great memories for her visit to Amsterdam in those days and of course for her culty movies.

In 1968 she played the lead role in Roger Vadim's (her husband then) 'Barbarella'. Her 1969 'They Shoot Horses' won her critical acclaim, and she earned her first Oscar nomination. Fonda was very selective by the end of the 1960s, turning down lead roles in 'Rosemary's Baby' and 'Bonnie and Clyde'.

This is a perfectly senseless 53:00 min. movie about naked girls doing some aerobics. I'm sure my nephew will like it because all the girls look like Allison Kraus. Actually I never met Allison and I cannot distinguish her from Pretty Pravo

Captain Marco Kroon (Dutch Commando) was promoted in May 2009 to a National Knight by our Queen for his heroic performances in Afghanisthan. The show was a rare first time in 54 years. And now Marco has been suspended from duty, suspected of armes & drugs trades.

Reneé Soutendijk is the twinkling star in this movie

Renee is a super sexy Duth actress. She has a kinda bitchy boy-like attitude that makes her even more sexy. She did some movies with Paul 'Robocop' Verhoeven in the early 1980's.

(Sorry, Dutch again). 'The Fourth Man' is an early 1983 movie from Paul 'Robocop' Verhoeven. The movie is pretty boring. But when you see boy-looking Reneé Soutendijk fuck bi-sexual Jeroen Krabbé (and not the other way around) you get a good impression of Paul's religious kinks.

Gerard Reve (the main character in this movie) was actually a famous Dutch homosexual 'peoples' writer. He was sued in the 1960's for depicting God as an Ezel and suggesting animal sex. Gerard decided not to hang himself and went Catholic and wrote some more nice books again.

Story: Gerard Reve (Jeroen Krabbé), an alcoholic, bisexual novelist, leaves Amsterdam to deliver a lecture at the Vlissingen Literary Society. There, he becomes sexually involved with its attractive treasurer, Christine Halslag (Renée Soutendijk), who is alternately described as a witch, black widow, Delilah and the Devil. The Virgin Mary appears to him in visions to show that he is targeted as her fourth victim. Mary says, "Anyone given a warning must listen to it." Gerard listens and his life is spared. He passes on the warning to Herman, Christine's other lover, who ignores it, thinking that Gerard is trying to scare him off so that he can have Christine for himself. The movie ends with Herman's death, Christine's selection of a fifth victim and Gerard's future uncertain.

The (in)famous fuck scene (6:00 min. 60 MB.). Gerard calls Maria and Joseph when he cums. A definite reference to Gerard Reve. And an inside-look into Paul Verhoeven's religion feelings.

Hong Kong Category III movies are about the hardest and sleaziest you can get; sex, drugs, gore, violence etc. In 1997 Hong Kong was handed over to China. Some HK guys struggled to make another buck by making a few Cat-III sleazers in the late 1990's. But China was not that harsh on Hong Kong After all.

The picture is from Trilogy of Lust II. So I assumed a first and a third sequel. All credits go to the original uploader and to Hartmut for providing all the links.

Julie Lee brings us this rape-and-revenge tale with a lots of sex. A woman (having been raped repeatedly by her relatives as a girl) seduces, screws, and then kills as many men as possible, perhaps in an attempt to break the current "anger sex" world record. Seems like it would be more efficient to simply kill all the men rather than screwing them first, since she supposedly hates sex so much. Serial rapists and murderers are such hypocrites.

Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band, Born In The USA – June 29th 1985, Parc De La Courneuve, Paris, France

This is just a great clip. Mr. USA is Euro-fucking all of these Frenchies. I'm not sure what the Euro-USA relationship was in 1985 but it looked pretty daring to sing this full blown USA song in the middle of Paris – and we all loved it. Just one of many things why I like USA.
