The pop music business has changed in 2008, but we already knew that. People don't buy $10 albums anymore, we just download it from the web. We rather buy $200 tickets for a live concert. Madonna was tops with her $200 million tour in 2008. The RIAA is fighting a lost battle, the artists and tour-operators are now in charge.
And on the other hand new talent is popping up on the web, without even having made one album. When we must believe the UK critics, Little Boots is ready for a break-through in 2009.
