Charles
Charles Mingus [1922-1979] was an unconventional and highly rewarded jazz musician. He is well known as a bass-player and as a band-leader.
Here are two very saxy tracks with his big band;
Boogie Stop Shuffle [15MB.]
Moanin' [9MB.]
A 1998 compilation of his sextet music called "Folk Forms" [65MB.]
1 Better Get It In Your Soul
2 Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting
3 Folk Forms
4 Prayer For Passive Resistance
5 What Love
6 I'll Remember April
Enjoy
