Malèna [2000]
Italian Monica Bellucci [1964] was a law student, a model for Elite and she still is a very beautiful and talented actress. She became known and popular with English-speaking audiences following her 2000 lead role in Giuseppe Tornatore's much acclaimed Malèna; a little boy's wet dream come true.
In 2002 she portrayed a rape victim in Gaspar Noé's highly controversial Irréversible. You have to go back to early Marlon Brando movies to find better hi-impact acting.
