The Klaxons is a young indie-rock UK band that just won the 2007 Mercury Prize for best British/Irish album of the year [Myths of the Near Future]. They surprisingly beat other favorites like Amy Winehouse [Back to Black] and the Arctic Monkeys [Favorite Worst Nightmare].
It was nice for all of us to see that Amy had a great performance at the Mercury Awards.
