Minase Yashiro as Ami, the Machine Girl

I am posting this 2008 Japanese "Kataude Mashin Gâru" movie because it had good critics at the recent Fantasy Film Festival in Amsterdam; and because I'm a fan of this kind of sleazy splatter stuff. And the girl-heroin looks pretty sexy too. It also scores a 7 out of 10 rating on imdb.

Schoolgirl Ami lives alone with her younger brother Yu since their parents committed suicide for falsely being accused of homicide. Ami protects her brother where she can, but she doesn't know that he and his friend Takashi are the main targets of some young bullies with prominent Yakuza-parents.

Yu and Takashi get killed, but nobody wants to help Ami because of her notorious family history. Her attempts to get revenge literally cost the poor girl an arm. She finally gets help from Takashi's parents, who also provide Ami with a machine-gun prosthesis - time for The Great Payback ...

"The level of violence, blood splatter, decapitations, dismemberment, and gore is outrageous"

You should recognize some similarities with Robert Rodriguez' 2007 Planet Terror ["this is a no-brainer"]. This is good cinematography, top action and super duper splatter - really a must see. Here is the 4:00 min. intro of the movie to give you some idea.
