Ian Dury, 1942-2000

Shit, he is pushing the daisies since 2000. This guy learned me how to use the English language. He made me aware that there are a zillions flavors; even the 'funny' racist Indian accents. The song from Essex (UK) is one of my all time favorites. You have to do a low-budget holiday and smell the locals to appreciate this song.

All crazyness on a sticky (let's get serious now). Together with The Kinks, Ian Dury is mentioned very often as most influentual for the recent UK independant (indie) youngsters. Just a few completely wild UK indie songs;
