Taste

A few years ago there were some Belgian guys that did a small movie festival called The Night of Bad Taste. Too bad they stopped. I have their second DVD with lots of Cannibal and Godzilla clips (not ripped yet) - it's all really over the top. To give you an impression, these movies have been shown at their festivals;
- Queen of Outer Space (1958)
- Blood Feast (1963)
- Two Thousand Maniacs (1964)
- Deadly Weapons (1974)
- Double Agent 73 (1975)

I guess this movie is in the same category - but it has a high rating that makes you wonder. The many aka titles is always a sign that this must be a shady and thrashy movie.

- Mysteries from Beyond the Grave (informal literal English title)
- Mysteries from Beyond the Tomb (informal alternative title)
- The Black Pit of Dr. M (dubbed version)

By day, Dr. Mazali (Rafael Bertrand) runs an insane asylum. By night, he lashes out at the veil between this life and the next, desperate to contact his former partner, Dr. Harrison Aldeman (Jacinto Aldama), who was executed for a crime he did not commit. What follows is madness, tragedy, agonizing violence and the unrelenting horror of infinite damnation.
