Bad

The title must give you a first clue. It stands for very sexy latin stuff. The poster & trailer give you the full impression. Don't hunt for the full movie - it's awfull. This is a good old [1976] cheep Italio Sexy Sleazer. The bad news is, this film just didn't made it to the bottom-100. Music is OK by Marcello Giombini

Some critic wrote;
"I found this film humourous and pathetic, it didn't really deal with the real history of slavery it was mostly preoccupied with showing woman's breasts, a lot of frontal nudity, and sex, sex, sex, this was like a low budget, bad badder, baddest acting, very bad acting, badly dubbed cheap pornographic flick. Where did this guy go to film school?. A very bad bad bad imitation of the film 'Mandingo' starring American actor Perry King, and James Mason."

Dreams

Humphrey Bogart is Sam Spade in (1941) The Maltese Falcon

The stuff that dreams are made of is another famous quote from Humphrey Bogart (as private dick Sam Spade) in 'the Maltese Falcon film (John Houston', 1941). When you take a carefull look, this film is full of crazy quotes. Some fan posted the full movie on the tube;

Actually this is a not-so-great Sam Spade film. The climaxes are in the last 2 parts. The goofy dialogues are the best part;

when you are a good girl,
you will be out in 20 years.
I'll be waiting for you.

Frankly

This is great blogging, finding the tubes with the top movie quotes. Another 10 to go. On number one (for a long time now) is "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn". It's the legendary quote from Clark Gable to Vivian Leigh from their 1939 film 'Gone with the Wind'.

West

Henry Fonda (black = bad guy) and Charles Bronson (white = good guy)

C'era una volta il West. I re-re-re-viewed and now I understand (at last) why this film is tops. The picture is great, the trailer is great Ennio is great, Sergio is Great, Claudia is great. All are great.
Like Rob, I still see her getting out of the train.

The Original Sound Track is here and I must find some valid links to the film later.

Enjoy the music

I had stirred eggs in my milk too. Must be a typical 1950's snack.
So great memories. The original picture from a famous Rumanian photographer is now on auction.

Texas

Sharleen Spiteri is the lead singer of the Texas band

Our sports is to find new young sexy singsters (preferably lesbian) that have none / first CD. Esmée Denters is the 2006 Dutch Tube Super Star. Her first album 'Outta Here' (2009) was produced by Justin Timberlake. The critics were so-so; she sounds like standard Britney Spears billboard. Her Outta Here album comes in two parts.

Texas is from a different category. She is good looking (and not very lesbian). But she made some nice albums by now.
- 'Careful What You Wish For' is from 2003;
- 'The Hush' is from 1999 - and comes in two files;
- 'White on Blond' is from 1997 - and comes in two files;
- 'Mothers Heaven' is from 1991;

Texas is the name of the band, Sharleen Spiteri is the lead singer, she made a 'Melody' solo album in 2008. Tracks on Melody are;
01 It was you
02 All the times i cried
03 Stop, i dont love you anymore
04 Melody
05 I wonder
06 I'm going to haunt you
07 Don't keep me waiting
08 You let me down
09 Where did it go wrong
10 Day tripping
11 Francoise

So, this gal must be around for at least 18 years, and I never heard from her. Must I feel sad or must I feel lucky?

Ever heard about Yin & Yang? Well, after all these violent films,
I think we deserve a more 'serene' Yoga clip [10:00min. 35MB.]

Leon

Léon (Jean Reno) is a professional killer. He reluctantly takes care of 12 yo. Mathilda (Natalie Portman) and teaches her his trade; she's not a good student. This 'blam-blam' film is also about lolita romance. Very clever made but no happy ending.
I saw this French film many years ago and it made some impression then. It has a 8.5 rating and it's in the top-50 of the imdb tops. The trailer gives you all of the action but it doesn't give you the right impression of their relationship.

Dollars

You have to dig deep into film history to explain why 'For A Few Dollars More' (1965, rated 8.2) didn't get the same cult status as 'Once Upon a Time' (1968, rated 8.7). Both from Sergio Leone, with Lee Van Cleef and Ennio Morricone's great music. They just swapped Clint Eastwood and Klaus 'Krazy' Kinsky for Charles Bronson and Claudia Cardinale. Maybe it's CC, maybe it's Ennio's music, maybe it's Dario Argento & Bernardo Bertolucci (story) ...

'For A Few Dollars More' was the second in the Sergio, Clint & Ennio Trilogy. The first one was 'A Fistfull Of Dollars' (1964, rated 8.0) and the last one was 'The Good, The Bad And The Ugly' (1966, rated 9.0).

Clint Eastwood ('The Man With No Name') and Lee Van Cleef ('The Man In Black') portray two bounty hunters in pursuit of 'El Indio' (Gian Maria Volontè), one of the most wanted fugitives in the western territories. One of his gang members is played by Klaus Kinski. Indio is a ruthless, intelligent man addicted to smoking cannabis. He has a musical pocketwatch that he plays whenever he wishes to kill someone. 'When the chimes finish, begin' he says, and sure enough when the music stops he shoots his victim. Through flashbacks we learn that Indio's pocketwatch (and perhaps his cannabis addiction) originates from a young woman who killed herself while being raped by Indio, after he finds her with her lover and kills him out of jealousy.

Ennio

Franco Nero (left) and Tony Musante in Sergio Corbucci’s 'Il Mercenario'

A fan posted some vintage Italian Spaghetti westerns. And these are great because of Franco Nero, Jack Palance and Ennio Morricone's music. Unlike 'Once Upon a Time', these two films hardly hide their leftish political message. Notice the 7+ ratings. This is clever film making. Maybe not as famous as Clint Eastwood's performances but at least as enjoyable.

Sergio Corbucci´s 'Il Mercenario' (1968) is a kind of prequel to his 'Compañeros' (1970). This one is a bit more serious and contains a slightly more positive outlook on the Mexican Revolutionaries. It's in widescreen, uncut and has two language tracks, the first is (mostly) Spanish, the other is English. Quentin Tarantino payed homage to it by borrowing an integral piece of Ennio's music from it.

Celebration

Ulrich Thomsen as Christian

My friend watched this movie five times, I just saw it for the second time. This is the first real 'Dogme' film by Thomas Vinterberg, his debut film.

It is a cruel film, and it's somewhat uneasy to watch in some moments. The celebration of the title refers to the 60th birthday of Helge Klingenfeldt-Hansen (Henning Moritzen), who entertains his big family in his castle. But Helge's son, Christian (Ulrich Thomsen), whose twin sister recently committed suicide, has an important revelation that will surprise - and displease - many people. In the meantime, other secrets are revealed and nobody will get away clean.

It comes in about 6x100MB.parts with an Englisch .sub file;

Cannes

And the winner is ... [not known yet]. I admit, I haven't seen one of the movies, but you can get a fair impression from other sources.

Lars Von Trier's Antichrist split the critcs in hefty positive and negative reactions (so he won't win). But it's the best reason to watch out for this film. Lars made this film during a period of depression.
I guess all great artists must be psycho in some way. Lars already won a Golden Palm in 2000 with his 'Dancer in the Dark'.

Chairwoman of this year's jury is 'cool' (ijskonijn) Isabelle Huppert.
I was stoned in love with her 30 years ago, when she still had freckles. Look at this great Isabelle movie.

Maybe (also very 'ijskonijn') Catherine Deneuve is the connection between Isabelle and Lars; Catherine played in the 'Dancer' and is also a former Cannes Chairwoman.

You never know how a cow can catch a rabbit

===

Lars Von Trier's [2000] 'Dancer in the Dark', with Björk and Catherine as Selma and Gean, two factory workers who are good friends but have very different lives.

Selma has emigrated with her son from Central Europe to America. The year is 1964. Selma works day and night to save her son from the same disease she suffers from, a disease that inevitably will make her blind. But Selma has the energy to live because of her secret; she loves musicals. When life feels tough she can pretend that she is in the wonderful world of musicals; just for some short moments. All happiness in life will not give her the things she is looking for ...

Olaf

When you have a few days for yourself, you can relax and focus on the important things in life. Olaf Ittenbach is my new friend. He is from Germany (1969) and made about one movie every two years, about ten by now. To make a short story long, Olaf makes super violent culty splatter movies.

His 1992 'Burning Moon' is still much hailed in the hard-core horror scene, because Olaf was arrested for this film in Germany.

The story goes that there is even a 5+ rated movie on imdb that was never made;
"Refering to some information I got from the writer of the script, Thomas Reitmairr, I sadly have to herald that 'Evil Rising' 2002 was never produced. It was planned to be set in Iran (of all places) but unfortunately the project was stopped in early 2003. So don't try to find it, you definitely won't succeed."

Posters and trailers always give you a great impression, but they never give you the suspense of the full story.

The low–budget 'Beyond the Limits' (2003) is extremely gore but it's not a bad movie. Most of the performances are only reasonable, the choreography of the fights with sword is terrible, but I liked the plot. There is an enormous exploitation of violence, but the special effects are very impressive and realistic. The only work of director Olaf Ittenbach that I have had the chance to see is the awful "Legion of the Dead", and "Beyond the Limits" is better and better showing a great improvement in his career. The characters Mortimer (mainly) and Brewster are among the most sadistic I have ever seen. The torture at the dinner table and in the castle chamber, the massacre in the church and the trip to Hell are extremely impressive and strong, and of course not recommended to sensitive persons. My vote is a splashig eight out of ten.

I'm sure you can find more information about this film on the web. The full movie comes in about 8x100MB. parts;

Italian

The Italian Job (1969) is a movie that I saw more than once without using the FF button (and that is pretty rare). It was the E-type crushing scene that got me totally confused. And Michael Caine is of course a great actor.

Some critic wrote;
The Italian Job is one of the best-loved British classics ever made. Most people in my home country of Britain have seen the film many times (most of those times spent drinking tea and speaking like the queen, of course), but there's more than enough for audiences from other countries to like about this delightful thriller as well. As you almost certainly already know, The Italian Job stars Michael Caine as the criminal at the centre of the job, dubbed 'The Italian Job' (would you believe). Caine is iconic in this film; his voice and mannerisms are often imitated, and it is this film that is probably most responsible for that. The plot follows Charlie Croker (Caine), a freshly released crook that, with a tip off from a deceased friend, decides to steal £4 million from Italy. However, it's not an easy job and there are many risks involved, so the job must be astutely planned and flawlessly executed for it to work right - and it is there that the film really takes off.

Somewhere in the movie the Brits get their fancy cars smashed by the mob and they are all keeping this stiff upper lip. When there is a top-10, this one must be in it.

"this car belongs to the Pakistani ambassador" is a golden quote.

Sorry, this is a very big file. But also a great movie. I will post later.

Katie

Katie Melua (1984) has Georgian roots

I'm not sure how to rate this her 2009 album. It's a poppy and bluesy mix. Her Georgian (translated, 3rd track) song is special. 'My Aphrodesiac Is You' is rockin' Katie again, but more of the same. 'Mary Pickford' is cute but done before. 'Ghost Town' sounds like slow-ska (and that is sexy music). Maybe you should listen all the tracks (a few times).

Horror

This is a 100% computer animated [CGI] scifi movie from 2004. Really amazing, and they can do even better in 2009. On-top-of; culty director Alejandro Jodorowski had a firm hand in this movie.

Based on the French comic 'Adventures of Alef-Thau' from the 1980's by Alejandro Jodorowski, who is also credited in the film. On a distant planet Axis, a gigantic coiling plant, stretches high above the clouds. At its center is a village whose people are in mortal danger because Axis is withering; it's sap is drying up. The people beg their gods for help, but to no avail. Compelled by a mysterious force, Kaena, a rebellious, high-spirited teenage girl will defy the High Priest and her people's ancestral beliefs to take the perilous journey through the Axis and discover what dark secrets lie beyond the clouds. A dying world, an evil force, a terrible secret.

Aya

Japanese horror in comic style [Hentai]. This is serious and arty stuff. I loved it from my early years. Sorry, I dont have the .pdf with the story. It was the picture again that made me blog this one. When you like Walt Disney and Freddy Kruger you will like this series.

The series is made up of several stories; 'Yotsuya Ghost Story' (Yotsuya Kaidan) is an adaptation of the classic Japanese ghost story. Nanboku himself is the narrator. Tamiya Iemon is a ronin samurai who marries a beautiful woman named Oiwa who is happy with her married life and the birth of their child, but Iemon feels the burden of their poverty.
'Goddess of the Dark Tower' (Tenshu Monogatari) is based on the play by Kyoka Izumi. It tells the story of a forbidden love between a god and a human.
'Goblin Cat' (Bake Neko) is an original story by Kenji Nakamura and Michiko Yokote. In the Edo period, a granddaughter of the master of a samurai family is planning to marry, but at the moment they are to celebrate the wedding, she is killed. A traveling medicine-seller says it's the work of a bakeneko, or cat monster.

Cynthia

Cynthia Witthoft is from 1973, this album cover says it all

This blog is about Cynthia Witthoft. She has no Wiki yet, but a pretty culty chick. She was new to me and she looks like a really great metal bitch.

And then Tom Waits came around. First here is a 2006 bootleg album from Polish Anna Murawska with Cynthia and Tom (20 tracks in 120MB.).

And then there was this early 1974 album from Tom (live in Los Angeles)

And then, and then, uh-uh, along came a Tom Waits fan with many more albums.

Oh, and please remind me to post some more Cynthia (she is my gal). Don't bother - my nephew is doing all the work.

Latin

I will never find this song again on your HD, the girls used a fancy-slang for their lyrics. I happened to be in love that summer.

The Macarena song is just as hot a latin summer hit.

Samba

Adriana Lima is very Latin

The ultimate Brazilian Samba song, the one-and-only. It was always difficult to find the right title of this song. So here is them both, the Bellini clip and a disco mix .mp3 version.

Madness

Complete Madness

I am a fan of this 1980's UK band. They were in front of the third wave of Ska. Their Cairo clip is still firmly engraved in my left lower braincells. Here is the .mp3 file.

They even triggered a parody from 'Not The Nine O'clock News' (Rowan Atkinson) and that is always a great /big honour.

Their 'Complete (best-of) Madness' album;
01 Embarrassment
02 Shut Up
03 My Girl
04 Baggy Trousers
05 It Must Be Love
06 The Prince
07 Bed And Breakfast Man
08 Night Boat To Cairo
09 House Of Fun

Terror

Another crazy Cannibal movie from 1981 with a bottom-100 rating. That are two good reasons to blog Cannibal Terror. The third one is the 'La Bamba' intro song.

A critc wrote;
"For years, Cannibal Terror was believed by many to be the work of horror/sleaze director Jess Franco, a reasonable assumption since the film bears what seem to be most of the prolific Spaniard's hallmarks, most notably a dreadful script, unconvincing locales, inept direction, terrible acting, and endless meandering shots of nothing much in particular (and I guess, for some, it was also hard to believe that there might be another person out there who could make films quite as bad as Franco).

The real culprit, however, was French director Alain Deruelle, who proves that he can be just as inept as Jess when it comes to delivering jungle horror.

Deruelle's dreadful film follows a trio bumbling kidnappers - two men and one woman - who escape across the border (to where, I have no idea) with their hostage, the young daughter of a rich businessman. Arriving at a safe house that borders 'cannibal country', the threesome are able to relax for a while, until one of the gang, Mario, decides to rape the wife of their host (after spying on her having a wash in a giant wooden bucket). This kick-starts a chain of events that results in the criminals and their hostage being pursued by bloodthirsty natives, with the father of the little girl in hot pursuit.

Taking a leaf out of Franco's Big Book of Cannibal Movie-Making, Deruelle opts to set his adventure in what appears to be a large botanical garden, hires himself some of the least convincing cannibals ever to grace an exploitation film (some have sideburns, many have coiffured hair, a few have beer-bellies, nearly all of them are Caucasion, but none of them look like savages), and throws in some cheapo blood and guts (using what looks like pig carcasses to stand in for human remains) in order to satisfy the gore-hounds.

The result is a mind-numbingly dull piece of Euro-sleaze that now shares top spot with Mondo Cannibale on my Crap Cannibal Movie List."

Style

The movie poster and the trailer (in combination) is fair enough to enjoy many a B-movie. And with some witty 1-page critic, you get a the full-impact impression of the movie. That looks so much more effiecient than Fast-Forwarding through 70-90 minutes of incomprehensible crap.

"This mega cheapo budget film has all of the plot devices of 'The Godfather' and none of the acting, directing, writing, cinematography, special effects, choreography, camera work, or general feeling. I haven't seen the 'Plan 9 From Outer Space' but this easily has to compete with it, for worst acting. Every word, every line sounds as forced out as every line in 'Pink Flamingos'. Getting the actors to time their movements even was disaster. This movie also has the distinguishment of being one of the most racially challenged movies ever. The only black man in the film is called SUPER SPOOK. Super Spook is actually crusified. The Italian American community is portrayed as dumb mob hoods who revel in Spaghetti. The movies mob bosses are weaklings who forgive having relatives killed and body parts cut off. The only worth in watching this, is knowing you could easily do a better job. How bad is the writing? When a mob boss is kidnapped his finger his cut off and mailed home with a ransom note, a friend upon reading the note and seeing the thumb utters the stupid line 'That's Chucky's thumb all right, I've seen it on him a million times'. Give this movie a three out of ten, for hilarious stupidity and a wacked out soundtrack."

The movie is 7+ rated, it looks pretty rare, hilarious, maybe culty and a big laugh for sure. So I give you the links to the full movie. All credits go to the original uploader. The movie comes in about 8x100MB.parts;

Arthur

Emily is from Frisco and she posted this King Arthur movie. Women sometimes have this strange phantasies about great/big/strong/powerfull men. So this is the cumming-out of Emily.

"Based on a more realistic portrayal of Arthur than has ever been presented onscreen. The film will focus on the history and politics of the period during which Arthur ruled - when the Roman empire collapsed and skirmishes over power broke out in outlying countries - as opposed to the mystical elements of the tale on which past Arthur films have focused."

The movie is really good and it has all the stars in it; Arthur, Lancelot, Tristan, Gawain, Galahad, Bors, Dagonet, Guinevere, Merlin and the lot.

Curse

'Curse of the Golden Flower' (Man cheng jin dai huang jin jia, 2006) is an Oscar nominated Chinese two hour epic by director Zhang Yimou situated in 928 A.D. during the Tang Dynasty. Chow Yun-Fat is great again and Gong Li is always great looking.
This is visually amazing cinematography and the story is OK too, about power and hatred in a Chinese court setting.

A Chinese critic wrote:
"As a Chinese, I didn't have a high expectation for this movie. Actually, director Zhang got a pretty bad reputation in China during the last few years. You can find millions of criticisms for his previous movies on Chinese forums.
However, I have to admit this time he is doing a great job. The story is excellent and the acting is almost perfect. The only 'problem' is that it's not a traditional Chinese kong fu movie so maybe it doesn't attract western people much. Anyway, I highly recommend this movie to every Chinese and anyone willing to accept a Chinese movie with non kong fu style. I hope one day China can produce a great movie like the 'Lord of the Ring'. I would like to give it 9/10."

Speaking from Amsterdam:
I have seen a few Chinese movies, I mean really Chinese - not from Hong Kong or Taiwan. Despite all their censorship, these movies are absolutely fabulous in visual effects and often have a historical, national theme. I like China is pushing her way into the world, and I don't like kung fu anyway.

Belle

Belle Da Morire (2005)

What about some sexy Italian stuff. Actually a really amusing Bruno Mattei (1931-2007) mix of energetic softcore and crime. All the women are raped and rape for money. It has some gore moments. The movie is fast and easy. It has many dark moments and sleaze as well. Pure Italian style. The ladies look and act quite good. But it's still Mattei's cut and mix style that make this movie so special. This film has parts used in his 2003 Snuff Killer. This film looks even better than that effort. When I saw the film I was glad that it has many great visuals and suspense as well. A great effort in showing dirty relationships and how sometimes money-oriented people can behave.
