Gloria

I don't know what came into my mind - there are zillion "Gloria" artists and songs. Actually it was the "Gloria In Excelsis Deo" that triggered this blog. I had a great yesterday evening with some friends - and they were raised as Catholics. But they have come around that. You don't have to be Catholic or religious to appreciate this great music.
[1] Mad-Evil Gregorian version of the Gloria song
[2] Mozart's [1791] Tuba Mirum version from his Requiem
[3] Beethoven's [1823] Gloria from his Missa Solemnis
[4] Puccini's [1880] interpretation from his Messa Di Gloria
[5] Jim Morrison's [1967] interpretation. Live in The Matrix Club, San Fransisco [yes, this also sounds pretty religious]

Enjoy
