Fiona Apple [1977] is an American rock musician, singer and songwriter. Her debut album "Tidal" was released in 1996. Due to some discussions with her record company, she only made two more albums upto now [as far as I know]. When you read her story, I think she is a great woman and [by the way] she makes great music.

Brains

Bad Brains is a legendary American punk rock band formed in Washington DC in 1979.
Originally formed as a jazz fusion ensemble, the Bad Brains developed a very fast and intense punk rock sound with jazzy and reggea undertones. They are now widely regarded as being among the pioneers of hardcore punk and referred to by many as one of the most influential and charismatic bands to emerge from the extremely productive late 70's/early 80's punk scene.
